I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. I was an only child. My mom was a single parent and gave me what she felt was the best of the best to train me into the Queen I am today.
I used to always wonder why my mother was strict! My friends got to do so much more than I, so I thought. I just couldn't understand it. 48 years later I get it. My mother knew she would not always be around. She knew that her life would be short, because she battled with Sickle Cell Anemia. She knew she had to instill in me morals and values of integrity, strength, love and respect, in whatever time she had. My Queen won her battle against Sickle Cell Anemia at the age of 44 on July 3, 1999. That was the day my life changed forever!
I lived my life trying to make my mother proud. The problem with that was she was not here, and I wasn't sure how to make myself proud. I spent many years trying to learn who Sarah was and what Sarah wanted out of life.
Fast Forward
Now I am a mother of 4 beautiful queens, and a grandmother to a set of twin princesses. I am a cherished wife of 11 years to a wonderful man of God; DeWayne M. Jones. I graduated with my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, and the owner of 'Tis So Sweet Baking and Catering business.
I am a woman who loves the Lord and I'm not ashamed to tell it! I don't just talk the talk but I walk the walk as well! I am a firm believer in Philippians 4:13; I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Living by that scripture makes me strive everyday to do better and be better. I want to be a positive influence to everyone I encounter. I was never in the popular crowd, but I always wanted to belong to something special. I'm taking this God ordained vision and bringing it into full manifestation with my sisters of Omega Rho Chi Sorority Inc.
