Latasha’s Anchor Scripture: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Latasha S. Scott is the Middle of 3 children born to Emma and Joe Arkwright Sr. of Savannah Georgia. She graduated from Windsor Forest High School, and later joined the United States Army. She is a graduate of South University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
As a child Latasha never had an easy life. Lord knows she had her share of trials growing up. She grew up with a mother that was an alcoholic and a drug addict. She can truly say that God had his hands on her life through every test growing up. Latasha says "I never had to wonder whether who would take care of me because in the days of no lights, gas and even food, somehow, I made it out okay. I know now in hindsight I had to go through each trial, and they were not necessarily all for me." Some of her past was to groom Latasha for this very season in her walk with God. Latasha has been groomed to serve God's people and let them know that He loves them no matter what life looks like. She says "I have been groomed to help others up out of a place of depression, destitute, and helplessness and desperation. I truly believe it is not in your fall, but it is in how you get up and (P.U.S.H) to get back in the race. I have had to scrape and scratch to earn my place in life but, with God as my Head I am continuing to press forward into my Purpose in Christ Jesus."
Latasha served 12 years in the United States Army in many duty stations throughout the world to include Iraq, Korea, and many stateside stations. During her final duty station God saw fit that she was called into ministry in 2013, at A New Life Ministries and Foundations in Waynesville Missouri. She was ordained as a minister. Over the years she served as a leader of hospitality/event coordinator, minister of music (Worship Leader), and Armorbearer to the Executive Pastor, was the Church Administrator, Director of Youth Choir, and a Sunday School Teacher. In 2016, God saw fit to elevate her to the next level of Evangelist. In 2016, upon moving to Columbia South Carolina my family and I joined Crossover Covenant Church in Blythewood SC, where I now serves as the Worship Leader, Intercessor. I am married to an Amazing Man of God Joshua T. Scott for the last 12 years. Together we share 3 amazing God fearing, loving, and gifted children, Ashton, Shelley, and Morgan.
As an entrepreneur in my own right, my husband and I are proud owners of Crown and Glory LLC., where several smaller businesses have been birthed and groomed. We are the proud owners of Touched by Tasha Hair Studio, Crown Tech, Sovereign Crown Designer Apparel.
